Over 500 drug dealing incidents, two people arrested. This is the result of an investigation conducted by the Carabinieri, acting on orders from the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prosecutor's office, against two individuals believed to be involved in drug dealing.
The events occurred at Castel Volturno, in the province of Caserta, between August 2020 and October 2022.
Through technical activities, observation, control and shadowing services and interrogation of drug-addicted buyers, the investigations made it possible to ascertain the responsibilities, in various capacities, in the dealing of narcotic substances of the suspects (2 subjects of Nigerian nationality, with specific precedents) against whom a total of over 500 episodes of drug dealing were contested, mainly heroin, cocaine and crack.
In particular, drug dealing was discovered in the municipality of Castel Volturno, specifically in the area in front of the 'Palazzi Grimaldi', a dilapidated building located along the Domitiana state road, which has been illegally occupied by Italian and non-EU citizens for years.
