There appear to be futile motives behind the attack that took place yesterday in Corso Freda Cellole, in the province of Caserta, which left a man on the brink of death.
The victim, a 46-year-old local man, admitted to the local hospital where he was transported by 118 personnel, is currently in a reserved prognosis and in imminent danger of life.
The Carabinieri of the operational and radiomobile unit of the Company of Sessa Aurunca together with those from the Cellole Station, who intervened on the scene of the events immediately after the incident, they identified and arrested the 44-year-old attacker, also from Cellole, who will have to answer for attempted murder.

The attacker was caught on camera
The images from the closed-circuit television cameras of some local businesses, acquired by the Carabinieri, clearly show how the 44-year-old, during the argument, first hit the 46-year-old with slaps and punches and then headbutted him in the face, who fell to the ground and remained unconscious.
The arrested person was associated with the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
