The written tests for the extraordinary competitions for the hiring of 31 staff members at the Municipality of CaivanoAt the Mostra d'Oltremare in Napoli, the venue for the tests, 1.384 candidates showed up, equal to 64% of the 2.146 applications received.
There are 441 eligible candidates, 70% of whom are under 40 years old.
By February the municipal administration will therefore be able to access the new resources, in implementation of the plan desired by the Minister for Public Administration, Senator Paul Zangrillo, and prepared by the Department of Civil Service.
"The large turnout confirms the attractiveness of public employment.", declared Minister Zangrillo. "I'm satisfied because, despite our awareness of the critical issues in this area, the response has been truly significant. The two competitions, which are taking place at unprecedented speeds, will enhance the Municipality's organizational structure with the profiles most suited to boosting administrative efficiency."
The organization of the competitions was entrusted to Form PA, in-house company of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Department of Civil Service.
For the 15 positions as a traffic policeman, out of 1.245 applications, 744 took the written test - who will still have to take a physical fitness test.
for 16 official positions, instead, out of 901 applications, 640 candidates showed up for the written test.
Participation was particularly high for the six social worker positions: out of 376 applications, 282 participated, or 75% of the candidates, 38% of whom were under thirty.
Meanwhile, the work of the Civil Service Department's task force continues, which, in consultation with the Special Commission and the Government Commissioner, has been working alongside municipal staff since last fall.

15 traffic policemen
16 Officials (including: 4 technical management instructors, 4 administrative-accounting management instructors, 6 supervisory management instructors, 2 education and social promotion management instructors)
