The Prosecutor's Office Avellino, led by Domenico Airoma, has begun evaluating the records and documents acquired by the Guardia di Finanza of the Irpinia capital during the oral exam of the competition announced by the municipality of Avellino for the hiring of ten traffic police officers.
The Finance Police intervened while the test, in which 34 candidates were taking part, was underway. The decision to suspend it was made by the Examination Committee to protect the candidates. The investigation was opened following a complaint filed by a candidate who failed the written test.
Deputy Mayor Laura Nargi, who over the past year has overseen the competitive exams that have led to the hiring of over fifty new professionals by the municipality of Avellino, expresses "confidence in the judiciary and the investigations: this competition too," she added, "followed all the required legal and transparency procedures."
