New checks by the Army and law enforcement in the so-called Land of fires, area between the provinces of Naples and Caserta affected by the phenomenon of toxic waste fires.
In compliance with the directives developed by the Control Room headed by the Minister of the Interior's representative for the fight against waste fires, preventive monitoring of the territory has been intensified.
Illegal and abusive activities and the resulting abandonment and illegal disposal of waste were then targeted. The results included three people reported, one car seized, and approximately €3 in administrative fines.
