The Campania Region aims to be "autonomous in the management of the waste cycle". The inauguration, which took place today, of the Casal Velino waste selection plant (Salerno), built in the Vallo Scalo area.
"We are making significant investments; we need to build more composting plants in other areas of Campania, and we are reclaiming all the landfills. In Cilento, we have other types of investments, especially in the water cycle: we have launched a plan for water autonomy for the Campania Region," De Luca said, speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration, which was attended by Deputy Mayor Domenico Giordano, President of Ecoambiente Vincenzo Petrosino, President of EDA Salerno Giovanni Coscia, and President of the Province of Salerno Franco Alfieri.
