Two injured, one of whom is seriously injured but not in danger of life, and three fans of the Roma reported, including a minor, the balance of the post derby between Lazio e Roma, played last night at the Stadio Olimpico. As Lazio fans flocked to the stadium, some of them from Ponte Milvio, chanted 'Avanti ragazzi di Buda' (Come on, boys from Buda) and raised their arms in a Roman salute.
Shortly before kick-off, smoke bombs were thrown between opposing fans in the south stands and the Tevere stand of the Olimpico stadium, but no injuries were reported.

To prevent clashes between the fans, police conducted several relief charges on Via Cardinal Consalvi, Via del Pinturicchio, and Piazza Mancini. On Via Sacconi, three Roma fans were stopped and reported by the police. The intervention of contingents deployed by the Cabinet Office of the police headquarters prevented the two fan groups from clashing and worsening the situation.
Just after midnight, a group of five Lazio ultras armed with knives, clubs, and sticks, wearing masks, broke into the Clover pub on Viale Angelico. After trashing the venue, they stabbed a 30-year-old Roma supporter in the abdomen several times and slightly injured the owner. The 30-year-old was rushed to the Santo Spirito emergency room, but his life is not in danger. Police and Carabinieri are investigating to locate and identify the five attackers.
