The network community has chosen the blooms of the Royal Park as its theme. Today at 16 pm, on the Museum's social channels, there will be the usual monthly online meeting with the staff of the Royal Palace of Caserta.
The Dialogues with the Royal Palace initiative was born in 2020 in order to encourage discussion between the Museum and the community. The meeting organized online allows sharing the path undertaken by the MiC Institute with the community, in a spirit of participation and shared responsibility. From the Facebook and YouTube accounts of the Royal Palace of Caserta, this time, we will talk about the Royal Park and its blooms.
In recent years, the Royal Palace of Caserta has begun a rigorous study of the historical catalogues and archive documents on the plant species of the Royal Park. From 2023, therefore, the planting of selected blooms will take place, in the spring and autumn seasons.
The aim is to restore the suggestions and harmonies of some green spaces, in particular in the English Garden and in the area of the Margherita Fountain. A research and planning work that keeps the Museum staff busy throughout the year. Dialogues with the Royal Palace will therefore be an opportunity to talk about what has emerged from the in-depth studies and what the Museum is doing to try to bring "history" back to the Royal Park. It will also be possible to participate in Dialogues with the Royal Palace with your own live intervention.
By applying via email, you can access the live webcast with your own contribution, lasting up to 5 minutes, to make proposals or ask for clarifications to the museum staff. Requests must be sent via email to re-ce.comunicazione@cultura.gov.it, by 9:30 today.
The request must include information about the content of the intervention, the personal data of the applicant and a telephone contact. The Reggia di Caserta will be responsible for selecting the contributions in the event of receiving too many requests. The chosen candidates will be contacted and will be provided with all the technical instructions to access the live broadcast as speakers. As usual, for all the web audience, it will be possible to ask questions in the comments during the online broadcast.
