A group of unemployed BROS Independent have expressed deep concern about the long-term uncertainty they find themselves in.

In the meantime, they recognize the efforts of the Region in trying to address this situation and ask for further investments in this direction without any form of discrimination.

The group called for exploring alternative solutions to integrate those who continue to express their need. They also asked that the Campania Region act as an intermediary with the companies that win tenders, which, in their opinion, are responding in some way to the needs of the territory.

This would be part of the implementation of new incentives for permanent hiring in 2024.

According to the group, the introduction of an increase in labor costs in the case of new permanent hires would represent a valuable opportunity to address the difficult situation of BROS, without any cost to the Campania Region and to the benefit of companies.

Many of the group have been on the reserve list for about four years for road maintenance work in the region, while others have qualifications to work as gardeners and groundskeepers.

The group believes that the 120 and 130 percent super deductions introduced by the Government this year represent a significant incentive for businesses, allowing them to reduce their tax burden by hiring new permanent staff.

It is hoped that the competent authorities will take these requests into consideration and take concrete measures to finally address the problem of unemployment among BROS members.
