On Saturday 27 January, the day of remembrance, at 11.00:20.00 there will be a presentation of the book Maria Orsic – L'ultima verità del male by Antonio Masullo at the Teatro Instabile Napoli and at XNUMX:XNUMX the show “Le radici dell'ultima verità del male” (Diary of a Nazi medium) based on the book by Masullo will be performed.

Gianni Sallustro with the actors of the Accademia Vesuviana del Teatro e Cinema will stage an abstract of the show “Le radici dell'ultima verità del male”, on stage at the Teatro Instabile Napoli on January 27 and February 4.
The book focuses on the emblematic and enigmatic figure of the Nazi medium Maria Orsic; it is the introspective analysis of a character, completely abandoned to historical oblivion, who re-emerges through the "diary tool" thanks to the absolute and essential value of Memory.
A diary, that of the most powerful medium in the world in the 40s, from which emerge secret love affairs with high-ranking members of the Nazi elite, cryptic historical pieces woven with mysticism and esotericism; introspective revisitations of some historical figures that build a different and more detailed mosaic of what has been told for decades, and the real motivations of what actually happened.
Wewelsburg, through Orsic's diary writings, appears as the true decision-making seat of Nazism; precisely that Nazism which page after page, seems to objectively sink its roots in the belly of an esotericism devoted to dark forces.

The show is based on the text Maria Orsic – The Last Truth of Evil by Antonio Masullo.
The central figures are: the Nazi medium Maria Orsic, Colonel Claus Shenk von Stauffenberg (known for having been the instigator of one of the last attacks on Hitler, Operation Valkyrie, in July 44) and Heinrich Himmler, commander of the SS, as well as Minister of the Interior of the Third Reich.
A group of Neapolitan deportees are transferred from the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp in the Rhineland, near the Wewelsburg Castle, located in the town of Buren, for the renovation of this architectural complex, dating back to 1600. They are deceived by the SS, who make them believe that after the renovation, they will be freed. Obviously, this will not be the case and they will have a nasty surprise during their stay in Wewelsburg.
All the deportees, however, are fascinated by the figure of the beautiful medium princess, Maria Orsic, who is said to see spirits and read the future.
The setting is the 40s, in the Rhineland, Germany.
In the performance: Gianni Sallustro is Heinrich Himmler. Francesca Fusaro is Maria Orsic, Tommaso Sepe is Colonel von Stauffenberg and Antonio Masullo intervenes in the story with historical-journalistic interventions, which better clarify the historical facts and the protagonists involved.
The book and the theatrical performance are part of the “Radici Tour 2024” which will cut the ribbon on January 27, 2024.

Anthony Masullo: criminal lawyer and freelance journalist, he has been writing for the online newspaper ExPartibus for some time. He has six publications to his credit: Solo di Passaggio (2001), Namastè in viaggio verso te (2011), Il diario di Alma (2012), Shoah – La Cintura del Male (2019), presented to the Senate of the Republic and the European Parliament, co-author of the anthology Venti Distopici with the story “Sette Pagine” (2021) and Mafalda di Savoia – La perla di Buchenwald – I sette giorni (2021). In January 2023 he made his debut at the TIN in Naples as author, director and performer of the theatrical show, entitled “Binario 21” – La Memoria, la Storia e il tentato oblivion. In May 2023 he received the recognition of Divulgatore del Valore della Memoria during the award ceremony of the international artistic-literary competition “Scriptura”.
Gianni Sallustro: graduated in Pedagogical Sciences, graduated actor, mime, director, voice actor, international master of Commedia dell'Arte, he has been the Artistic Director of the Accademia Vesuviana del Teatro e Cinema since its foundation (2007). His artistic curriculum includes multiple cinematographic and television experiences, in particular in successful fictions branded Rai and Mediaset such as "La squadra", "Un posto al sole", "Carabinieri" and "Sette Vite", and the conquest of numerous awards, both for interpretation and direction. He has participated in countless projects, both as an interpreter and as a director, in projects and productions of theatrical works by the greatest directors of modern and contemporary theater: Antonio Calenda, Antonio Capuano, Michele Monetta, Antonio Fava, Maria Orsini Natale, Emma Dante, Nicola Fano, Manlio Santanelli, Peppe Sollazzo, Filippo Zigante, Dario Fo. Among the best students trained at the school of Michele Del Grosso, one of the noble fathers of the Neapolitan theatrical avant-garde, today Sallustro is considered his artistic heir. Since 2022 Sallustro has been the artistic director of the Teatro Instabile Napoli.
