Naples. Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Vicaria Mercato Police Station, during the territorial control service, while passing through Vico Santa Caterina a Formiello, in the neighborhood Fork, they noticed a subject who, at the sight of them, accelerated his pace to evade the control.
The police caught up with him, but the man began to attack the officers, kicking and pushing them until, after a struggle, he was subdued. Furthermore, the police determined that the suspect had escaped, having been placed under house arrest for resisting arrest and assault.
Therefore the man, identified as a 53 year old Neapolitan, was arrested for evasion, assault and resisting a public official.
