Nature, freedom and humanity in Nathalie's new album: an immersion in the musical world of the winner of X Factor 4, in a musical project born in 3 years of zero-impact recordings and sessions and photovoltaic panels.
After three years of open-air solar-powered recording sessions, three years of "traveling" around Italy aboard a camper van powered by photovoltaic panels, and the first four singles released between May and November 2023, the full version of Nathalie's album Freemotion will be released on January 10, 2024: 5 years after the release of Into The Flow, an immersion in a musical world made of sounds, words and colors, but also of commitment, joy, denunciation, sustainability and new possibilities.
2024 therefore opens with a musical novelty that straddles genres, sensations and musical and artistic feelings, capable of recounting and proposing through the seven notes the eclectic and creative soul of an artist who, for over twenty years on the scene, moves with intelligence, originality and refinement between different registers and genres, giving life to a complex musical project entirely recorded in the open air and on board a camper - transformed into an eco-sustainable recording studio powered by photovoltaic panels.
With a thoughtful tracklist, Freemotion is an album to be listened to from start to finish, following the order of the songs, immersing yourself and following the flow of the narrative as it unfolds; from nature and its perfection, through human imperfection, the denunciation and awareness of possible change, to freedom as liberation from superstructures, abuses of power, and imposed mechanisms, and concluding with a lullaby in connection with Nature itself.
The album opens with Arcobaleno, a travel song, written as soon as I set off in my camper, escaping the city towards nature and fresh air.

Freemotion's journey continues in an unexpected way with Hamsters, a metaphor for the human being as a cog in a system that distances him from his most authentic nature and from Nature itself. An important awareness, followed by Limbo, a song that marks a real moment of transition in the album, from mechanical and unnatural daily life to the awareness of a possible change. With I just wanna be free, the desire for freedom transforms into something concrete: a dark and at the same time liberating song, in which lucid anger transforms into awareness and vindication of one's freedom of choice and self-determination.
This is how the physical and interior liberation of Respirando arrives, breathing as a fundamental act of existence, while with Illusion the illusion of the superfluous, of the fictitious that distances us from the truth falls. The expression of this interior truth is Il Potere Sentire, an evocative piece in which sensitivity, delicacy, empathy, “feeling”, finally become a “power”.
Freemotion's journey ends with Your dreams of love, an intimate and interior lullaby, recorded in the woods, surrounded by its sounds and protected by the trees.
Throughout her career, Nathalie has graced stages of every genre, from Sanremo to the Rebibbia women's prison, bringing her true self and her unmistakable desire to make music with complete freedom. A slender and passionate singer-songwriter, her music blends intimate and rock atmospheres. Bilingual from birth and a keen traveler, she writes lyrics in Italian, French, English, and Spanish. She reached the mainstream in 2010 by winning X Factor 4 on Elio's team and taking her unreleased song "In punta di piedi" to the final. In 2011, she was among the Big Artists at the Sanremo Music Festival under the artistic direction of Gianni Morandi, participating with the song "Vivo sospesa." He has released the EP "In punta di piedi" (2010) and the albums "Vivo Sospesa" (2011), "Anima di Vento" (2013), recorded between Rome and Abbey Road Studios in London, and "Into the Flow" (2018), an album conceived around the element of water, from which the single "Smile-in-a-box" was taken, the video of which features actor Stefano Fresi. He has collaborated with Italian and international artists including Franco Battiato, Raf, Elio e le Storie Tese, Skunk Anansie, Toni Childs, and Oasis producer Owen Morris.
In 2023 the first singles from the new album Freemotion were released, born thanks to crowdfunding and which saw the participation of Nathalie's fans. In 2024 the complete album of 10 tracks was released, 3 of which in double version in Italian and English.
