Genoa remembers Fabrizio De Andrè 25 years after the death of the great Genoese singer-songwriter, who died in Milan on January 11, 1999.
To remember him, a playlist of his greatest hits will be broadcast throughout today from the public address system on Via Garibaldi, in the heart of the historic center, from Crêuza de mä to Bocca di Rosa, from La Città vecchia to La guerra di Piero, from Andrea to Il pescatore, concluding with Via del campo.
"For the whole day - states the mayor of Genoa Marco Bucci in a note - Faber's songs will resound along Via Garibaldi, a fitting tribute to the Genoese singer-songwriter. His music will enliven the passage of Genoese residents and tourists through the heart of the city. A tribute to a figure Genoa will never forget.
