This morning, at Giugliano in Campania, precisely in the hamlet of Varcaturo, the Carabinieri of the local station, in collaboration with the Carabinieri Forestale Nucleus of Pozzuoli and the soldiers of the Italian Army, conducted a wide-ranging operation to combat environmental pollution.
During the service, a 37-year-old man, owner of a mechanical workshop located in via Madonna del Pantano, was reported. The Carabinieri discovered that inside the structure there were several used tires and containers of special waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, mixed together.
In addition, an unauthorized tank full of liquid waste was discovered. Following these discoveries, an area of approximately 40 square meters was confiscated.
The operation continues the commitment of law enforcement to preserve the environment and ensure compliance with anti-pollution regulations. These actions demonstrate the determination of the authorities to combat any form of damage to the ecosystem, ensuring a healthy environment for all citizens.
