A 50-year-old with a criminal record was arrested in Gricignano di Aversa by the police, accused of attempted murder.
The Flying Squad of the Public Safety Commissioner of Aversa intervened following a report from a man to 113, who said he had defended his home from two intruders by hitting one of them with a knife.
Noticing some inconsistencies in the story, the police located the injured man, who had been taken to Aversa hospital with a serious abdominal wound. From the reconstruction, it was discovered that the injured man, already known to the attacker, had sought out the 50-year-old at his home to demand payment of an old debt.
The argument escalated and the man was stabbed, suffering a serious abdominal wound that required hospitalization.
The attacker was arrested and transferred to the prison of Santa Maria Capua VetereThe investigating judge, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Naples North Court, validated the arrest and ordered his pre-trial detention.
