In a Nevada courtroom, 30-year-old Deobra Delone Redden was involved in a shocking attack during a battery case trial.

Redden leaped over the defense table and literally lunged at Judge Mary Kay Holthus. The scene was captured on surveillance cameras at the Las Vegas courthouse, with court staff and corrections officers intervening to stop the man.

The judge suffered some injuries after being thrown against the wall, but did not require hospitalization. The court commissioner suffered a cut to his forehead and a dislocated shoulder during the fight and received medical attention. In the surveillance footage, a man can be seen punching the defendant to contain his fury.

Redden was arrested and booked into Clark County Jail, having a history of assault and battery. His outburst came after the judge ruled against his parole.
