An investigation has been opened on the social case of the day in Naples, namely the arrest of the minor son of the tiktoker Rita De Crescenzo, or rather on his escape from the family home.

Investigation also requested by the Green MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who used harsh words on insults, video threats of the relatives of De Crescenzo herself. Luca Trapanese, councilor for social services of the municipality of Naples, also intervened on the matter and explained the position of the Authority.
Last night, Rita De Crescenzo's minor son, known as 'Checco' on TikTok, was stopped by the Municipal Police while riding a scooter along the seafront. The boy had never obtained a license and was therefore fined by the officers.
During further investigation, it emerged that the young man was the subject of a missing person report. In April 2023, Checco had run away from a foster home in Naples, where he had been placed due to his absence from school and lack of support from his parents. Due to his constant absences from school, De Crescenzo had lost custody of his son, who had been placed in a foster home.
In 2022, the boy had already run away from foster care and, in April 2023, he had run away again and since then had never been traced until last night. De Crescenzo's son was taken to the offices of the Local Police of Santa Maria del Pianto.
At that moment, about 50 people, including the TikToker, gathered outside the police station, filming with their phones and shouting insults at the police and at the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who has been closely following the case.
Some of the videos containing insults or false narratives of what happened were posted on TikTok by De Crescenzo and his son Rosario, who even paid to sponsor them with the intent of making them visible to as many people as possible.
Borrelli: “This is the worst part of our city”
“This is the worst part of our city, plastered in full view on all social networks. Videos in which De Crescenzo shouts 'shame' against our men and women of the police force who are only doing their duty or in which she tells falsehoods about the story concerning her son Checco.
Videos in which Rosario, another son of the tiktoker, threatens to go and get his brother wherever they take him or in which he dedicates a 'flame' to me and to all the people who are not dealing with this case. Videos that have even been sponsored for a fee to spread lies, falsehoods, insults, threats and accusations against the institutions, the police and the judiciary.
Judiciary that has also been offended and mocked several times by these individuals. The TikTok platform has completely lost its sense of proportion in allowing these videos to be sponsored, when instead they should only be removed. These people do not represent us and will never represent us.
Let us remember that De Crescenzo has already been guilty of very serious crimes in the past and of ties to a Pallonetto di Santa Lucia clan, another son was taken away from her because he was being used to sell drugs, and a mother who protects a son who has run away from a family home and who, to defend him, it is not clear from what, shows up with 50 people outside a barracks, with the intent of obstructing and putting pressure on the work of the agents, is a terrible example for the whole society.
A real aggression that the police had to endure and keep at bay, it is simply absurd to work in these conditions. Whoever made the mistake must pay, all responsibilities must be ascertained, because if this boy was not traced for almost a year he had accomplices, who by covering him up broke the law. Let's clarify what happened and proceed without discounts for anyone". This is the comment of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of the Green-Sinister Alliance.
Councillor Trapanese: “Social workers should be enabled to carry out their work”
“First of all, I want to thank all the social workers who are working tirelessly in often difficult and precarious conditions. I want to explain what is happening because the truth told by a mother who is currently in pain is not the real truth. I cannot give details for privacy reasons, but I can assure you that the situation is complex and delicate.
It is necessary that the boy be guaranteed a future and for this to happen it is right that social workers are put in a position to do their job. They are people you can trust and not enemies, indeed they are people who can only help those in need“, explained the councilor for social services of the municipality of Naples, Luca Trapanese.
