A nurse was attacked in the Emergency Room of the Pineta Grande Hospital in Castel Volturno, located between Caserta and Naples.
The facility itself, a health facility for the Domitian-Phlegraean area, made the attack known.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. last night, when a nurse invited a patient being treated in the emergency room to return to the clinic for further assessment. The patient, visibly agitated, reacted by yanking the nurse, spraining her arm and causing her to fall to the floor.
The attack occurred in front of the patients, their families, and the staff on duty, who promptly calmed the patient and assisted the nurse, helping her to her feet and then accompanying her to the orthopedic clinic for the necessary treatment.
