Candelora in Montevergine with Karma B Karma B, a twin drag queen duo of Sicilian origins, are known for their refined performances in Italy and abroad. In addition to their impeccable style and artistry, Karma B are also activists in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Over the years, they have participated in important socio-cultural events and expressed their support as activists of the rainbow community. Karma B were the protagonists of "Live propaganda” and took part in the program “Hi Male" with Nunzia DeGirolamo in 2021 and 2022. In June 2022, they released a new single which also became the title of their show.
Their presence is not limited to entertainment, but also extends to activism. They have participated in important socio-cultural meetings such as the International Journalism Festival in Perugia and the Wired Festival in Florence, where they addressed issues related to language change and new experiments with inclusive language.
On February 2, Karma B will welcome the people of Mamma Schiavona in the Piazza della Funicolare in Mercogliano for the ascent to the Sanctuary of Montevergine and the celebration of the rite of light, an event that combines religious celebration with the vindication of the LGBTQIA+ community.
In addition, Karma B will perform on the stage of the Temporary Art Space for Candelora, with a unique and lively show that includes music, songs, recited interludes and reflections, as part of the tour of “MaschiE… Quello che gli uomini non dicono”. These events are part of the project “Il cammino di San Guglielmo”, supported by the POC Campania 2014-2020 funds, which aims to promote tourist, cultural and food and wine itineraries of national and international importance.
