On Saturday 27th (19.00:28 pm) and Sunday 18.00th January (20:XNUMX pm), at the Teatro Area Nord (Via Nuova Dietro La Vigna, XNUMX – free internal parking), “La Macchia” will be performed, a co-production of Liberaimago with Fondazione Teatro di Napoli – Teatro Bellini and the support of the Teatro Area Nord of Naples.
On stage: Francesca Borriero, Emanuele Valenti and Michelangelo Dalisi.
The text, written by Fabio Pisano, also director, lives on a profound lack of communication between the dramatis personae present on the scene; a lack of communication bordering on the absurd; the dialogues are tight, short, cold, alternating with monologuing moments that seem to speak more to an “elsewhere” than to the interlocutor on duty. Each of the three dramatis personae lives in their own “confined” condition, no one in that apartment is at ease, neither the owners, nor the guest, who came there for a specific and banal reason. The peculiarity of the text is the presence of poetic “captions”, real anthologies that are inserted to be recited, but which can, in a staging that decides to deprive itself of them, also be read as simple captions.
“The Stain – explains Fabio Pisano – it is a text in which there is a deliberate will not to listen to oneself that someone can translate as theater of the absurd; but as far as I'm concerned it is very far away, the absurd, here. The absurd in some way comforts. The Macchia cannot comfort. S., the character called S., wears a suit and comes from a place (the ground floor of the building where he lives and where the couple he turns to for the problem on the ceiling of his bathroom lives) that characterize him and will characterize him in the eyes of the two, in the eyes of Him and Her in an everlasting way. There is no escape from there – concludes the author and director – There is no boundary you can cross when someone doesn't want to listen to you."
