The inauguration of the new building will take place on Friday at 11am. "Pope Francis' Laundry", an initiative proposed by Procter & Gamble and the Community of Sant'Egidio of Naples, welcomed by the Apostolic Charity and implemented with the involvement of Haier Europe.
The laundry room, located at the Casa dell'Amicizia in the Church of SS Filippo e Giacomo, will be accessible free of charge to the needy, particularly the homeless. They will be able to wash and dry their clothes here and, thanks to the shower service, also take care of their personal hygiene.
Cardinal will speak at the inauguration ceremony of the initiative Konrad krajewski, Apostolic Almoner of Pope Francis; Richard Calvi, Communications Director, Procter & Gamble Italy and Karim Bruneo, Communications Director of Haier Europe.
