On the stage of the Salvo D'Acquisto Auditorium in via Morghen, on Saturday 27 January, the “Vomero Suona” festival begins the new year by preparing to welcome the “Le Orme & Friends” project (the only date in Campania).
Born from an intuition of Enrico Vesco in the summer of 2022, the project found in Michi Dei Rossi and Tony Pagliuca valid allies to achieve an ambitious goal: to bring together the most important musicians in the history of Le Orme to create the first double album of unreleased songs in their history.
On stage live, the elite of Italian progressive will also be the protagonists in Naples: Michi Dei Rossi, Tony Pagliuca, Tolo Marton, Michele Bon with Luca Sparagna, Aligi Pasqualetto and guest Lino Vairetti, historic leader and frontman of Osanna.
The “Le Orme & Friends” project, in addition to a tour, has also given birth to a double 33 rpm (Gold vinyl), produced by the current Le Orme with the contribution of Tony Pagliuca (keyboardist and historical member with Michi Dei Rossi and Aldo Tagliapietra), Tolo Marton (co-author of the album Smogmagica, 1975), Francesco Sartori (in the band until 1997), Fabio Trentini (2009/2018) and Jimmy Spitaleri (frontman of Metamorfosi and voice of Le Orme in 2011/2012).
A special and moving quote for the participation of Germano Serafin (1956-1992), with Le Orme from 1975 to 1981, who appears with his interpretation of the era.
In conjunction with the vinyl version, a triple CD was also released (also Gold), containing the material from the two vinyls plus the songs of some of the most important Italian prog groups, who in various ways and at various times have collaborated with Le Orme:
