A few days after its inauguration, the headquarters of Licola of the well-known Varcaturo “Graffam'c” received an unwelcome visit from a group of bandits. The other night around 3,40:4 a.m., four of them stormed the premises on Via San Nullo. And despite the sound of the alarm with a fog cannon going off, three of them armed with crowbars continued to break down the shutter until they managed to get in.
The phases of the raid were documented by video surveillance cameras and broadcast on the Facebook page “Varcaturo, Licola, Lake Patria”. As you can see, the gang arrives on board a Ford Focus. Three of them get out of the vehicle, all armed with crowbars. The most active are two. They all have their faces covered by balaclavas.
The fourth accomplice remains in the car with the engine running. In less than a minute they manage to get in and take away the automatic cash register by loading it into the trunk of the car. A few more seconds and they go away without a trace.
On Licola's Facebook page you can read “Full solidarity with Graffammc di Licola which, very shortly after its opening, has already suffered a major theft… we want to make an appeal to all of you and to the institutions…
