Rome, Milan, and Naples: these are the three 'queens' of the 2023 Italian Lottery. In these three cities, 50 of the 210 total prizes drawn last night during the historic Epiphany draw were won, including first, second, and third category prizes.
+In particular – reports the Agimeg agency – the capital has conquered the first place, with 27 prizes won in the Italian Lottery. This year, however, Rome has not seen first category prizes. Of the 27 wins, in fact, 25 are third category prizes of 20.000 euros each and only two of 100.000 euros.
It should also be noted that 19 of the 27 prizes were won in the city of Rome, while only 8 were won in the province. In total, therefore, prizes for 700.000 euros were distributed in Rome. In second place in this special ranking is Milan, far behind Rome, given the 'only' 14 prizes won, but with a total amount that is mind-boggling.
The Lombard capital was in fact awarded the largest prize of the 2023 Italian Lottery, the 5 million euro one which, together with the other 13 third category prizes, brought the total winnings to a whopping 5.260.000 euros. Instead, 340.000 thousand euros were distributed from the 9 prizes won in Naples and province. The Neapolitan enthusiasts won two prizes of 100.000 euros and 7 of 20.000 euros.
The ranking of the luckiest provinces in the latest edition of the Italian Lottery is completed by Turin, where 8 prizes were won (all of 20.000 euros) and, tied with 7 prizes won, Arezzo, Bologna and Florence. Only in the two Tuscan provinces, however, was a prize of 100.000 each won in addition to the third category prizes.
In Salerno, 6 total prizes were awarded, namely the 2,5 million euro prize, 2 100.000 euro prizes and 3 20.000 euro prizes. It should be noted that five third category prizes were awarded to tickets purchased online.
