The Carabinieri intervened yesterday afternoon at a private home in Macerata Campania, in the province of Caserta, where the father and son live, to carry out a search to find illegally held weapons.
As soon as one of the occupants of the house noticed the arrival of the carabinieri, he immediately tried to escape by climbing onto the roofs, but was promptly caught and stopped.
Once stopped, it was discovered that the man had hidden a 7,65 caliber semi-automatic pistol, with the serial number erased, complete with magazine, and ammunition.
The weapons and ammunition were seized and the father and son, aged 57 and 32, were arrested. They were taken to prison and will be tried for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, as well as illegal possession of clandestine weapons.
the weapons were sent to the Carabinieri scientific section to be analyzed and to establish whether they had been used in recent bloody incidents.
