The commitment of the sister associations “Alberto Tixon” and “Maddaloni Donna” on the themes of culture and current affairs continues.
Thursday 25 January at 17pm the presentation of the book “Olivia and the others – the normality of evil in the diary of a magistrate” written by Dr. Diana Russo, Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Velletri Court currently in office at the Ministry of Justice, will take place in the “Gebbia” room of the Municipal Library.
In this volume Diana Russo rewinds the tape of memories and, in twenty existential fragments, tells of her confrontation, as a young magistrate, with the unsuspected nature of evil and the vulnerability of victims, but also with their tenacity and their strong desire for justice. Olivia e le altre is a travel diary full of emotions, in which the author takes the reader by the hand and accompanies him on the difficult path of judging. Because, despite the stumbles and falls, faith in justice and in its continuous search must never be lost.
The presentation will open with institutional greetings from the mayor of Maddaloni Andrea De Filippo. This will be followed by speeches by Raffaella Perrella, associate professor of the Department of Psychology at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, and by Rossana Ferraro, CREG member of the University Tor Vergata. Among the speeches, passages from the volume will be read by the lawyer Filomena Farina. The journalist Domenico Letizia will moderate.
