Naples. During the afternoon yesterday, the agents of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, as part of the services arranged, observed some people approaching a man sitting on a bench in Piazza San Francesco a Capuana and handing him money in exchange for something.
The officers intervened promptly, blocking the suspect who was found in possession of a package containing approximately 0.20 grams of crack and 65 euros, clearly the proceeds of the criminal activity.
Additionally, 18 more packages of the same substance, with a total weight of approximately 4 grams, were found under the bench on which the subject was sitting.
As a result of these circumstances, a 32-year-old individual, a Moroccan citizen with a criminal record, including specific criminal records, was arrested for the crime of illicit possession of narcotic substances.
