"Finally, young Sasy, seriously injured by a firecracker explosion on New Year's Eve, is out of danger," says Vincenzo Stravolo, President of the Transparency Association for Melito.
This morning, Sasy left intensive care and was transferred to the ward, where he will continue his medical treatment. We received the news directly from his mother, Mrs. Mariagrazia, who, with relief and emotion, informed us that she had spoken to her son. In addition to asking his mother not to leave him alone and to hold his hand, Sasy sent a message to everyone: he can't wait to go home and take back control of his life.
"What seemed like a tragedy, and in fact turned out to be, is having a happy ending, but like all stories, it contains a moral and a lesson: 'No to illegal firecrackers.'

The goal is to prevent them from risking their safety and their lives. With joy and emotion, the entire staff of Trasparenza per Melito extends warm wishes for a speedy recovery to our courageous young man from Melito, who is demonstrating great strength and a zest for life," concludes Stravolo.
