The works of the new terminal Beverello Pier could be concluded by the end of the month.
The announcement was made by MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who, together with Europa Verde municipal councilor Lorenzo Pascucci, inspected the construction site. The terminal is practically complete, as is the promenade. A few finishing touches are still needed, but the work is essentially finished.
"We've been following the development of this situation for years. The work has made a breakthrough, both in terms of quality and speed, thanks to the current president of the port authority, who has managed to untangle a tangle of bureaucratic obstacles," Borrelli and Pascucci stated. "Now we're nearing completion after many years. It's been an epic journey, but with President Annunziata, with whom we've interacted fruitfully over the years, progress has been significantly accelerated."
"At the end of the month, when the work will probably be finished," the two Greens continued, "we must proceed with the assignment of management of the terminal, which is very large and functional. The promenade built on the upper part, however, could represent a turning point for the city and for tourists. Finally."
