A 43-year-old man of Ukrainian origin was transported to the Cardarelli hospital in Napoli from a stab wound to the abdomen.
Officers from the Flying Squad and the Arenella and Scampia police stations arrested his partner, a 47-year-old compatriot, on charges of attempted murder.
In particular, the police intervened in the apartment of the two, in Corso Marianella, where they surprised the woman in a state of agitation, finding a knife still stained with blood.
The man's prognosis is guarded and has undergone delicate surgery. The woman, clearly impaired by alcohol, has not offered any explanation for her actions.
He will probably do so at the validation hearing before the investigating judge and once the hangover has passed.
