The passage of an ambulance engaged in rescue operations in vico Storto Purgatorio in Arco, in the historic center, was prevented by a car parked in an illegal manner. The video – complaint sent by residents to the deputy of Alleanza Verdi – Sinistra Francesco Emilio Borrelli testifies to the absurdity of the event. The citizens reported to the deputy that “For two weeks they have been reporting to the authorities by sending certified emails the presence of the parked car without obtaining any conclusive and concrete response”.
“That car must be towed away immediately and its owner must be identified and sanctioned as he deserves. The fact that it has a foreign license plate confirms the many doubts about the boom in foreign cars that circulate in our city and are often the protagonists of incredible episodes of road piracy. A phenomenon that is constantly growing and which must be investigated thoroughly. I find the silence and lack of intervention of those who are responsible for listening to the legitimate reports of citizens unacceptable, especially when their safety is put at risk. Preventing an ambulance from passing means putting the lives of others at risk. We need zero tolerance for wild parking. Incivility must be fought with all means, especially if it compromises the safety of others”. This was stated by Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of Alleanza Verdi – Sinistra to whom the residents of vico Storto Purgatorio in Arco have asked for help.
