Giuseppe Nicola Moffa, 18 years old, was arrested by the Flying Squad of Napoli and by the city's DDA. Moffa is accused of being the author of a raid that took place last 11th December, in which Ciro Vecchione, actor in the film, was injured “The Children's Paranza”, and his girlfriend.
The raid took place in the “Case Nuove” area of Naples. Moffa, riding a scooter, opened fire on the Smart in which Vecchione and his girlfriend were traveling. The two were injured, but not seriously.
The investigations of the Flying Squad and the DDA led to Moffa's arrest. According to investigators, the raid was an act of retaliation by the Contini clan, to which Moffa is affiliated, against Vecchione, who is said to be linked to a rival criminal group.

Moffa was arrested last Wednesday, again in the “Case Nuove” area. The young man, despite the large volume of fire (about 80 bullets of various calibers were fired), was hit by a single gunshot, but was slightly wounded in the leg. While a shot wounded a 68-year-old woman who was on the street in the buttock.
Moffa's arrest is a serious blow to the Contini clan. The Naples police are committed to fighting organized crime in the city, and this arrest is an important signal also in light of the numerous protests by citizens after the shooting the other afternoon at Corso Arnaldo Lucci a stone's throw from the central station.
