It is a criminal story worthy of a film script that of Patrizio Silvestri, 65 years old arrested by the Naples Flying Squad for savagely beating an elderly woman and robbing her.
The repeat offender from the San Lorenzo neighborhood of Naples ended up in prison for aggravated robbery. He had recently been released from prison. In 1995 in Salerno, killed Luigi Raffa was thelover of his wife Anna Deviato. He surprised them in a restaurant and fired repeatedly. Silvestri followed the elderly victim from inside the post office, tailing her outside after withdrawing 2500 euros.
Once on the street, the 65-year-old allegedly attacked her with punches and slaps to the chest and face, until the woman took the loot. Analysis of the CCTV footage allowed investigators to identify Silvestri as the robber.
