Naples. Violent robber arrested by the mobile squad about a year after the robbery carried out in the central Via Duomo against a woman who had just withdrawn her pension.
And in fact this morning, by delegation of the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Naples, this morning the State Police executed an order for the application of precautionary custody in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the local Prosecutor's Office, against SP, aged 64, seriously suspected of the crime of aggravated robbery, which occurred in Naples in February 2023.
From the careful analysis of the footage extracted from the public video surveillance systems and from some commercial establishments, as well as from the comparison of frames obtained from the so-called "license plate capture" system - activities carried out by the Flying Squad of Napoli – it emerged that today's suspect initially stalked a woman, following her inside the Post Office in Piazza Matteotti and carefully observing her during cash withdrawal operations at the counter.
