The City of Naples reaffirms its commitment to "Naples City of Music," which, with careful and targeted programming, continues its work promoting and showcasing Neapolitan culture, venues, and talent. Through a rich program of events spanning diverse styles and genres, the city confirms its position as a true crossroads of traditions and artistic excellence.
Palazzo San Giacomo announced this in a note, explaining that The enhancement of the Porta del Parco Auditorium in Bagnoli and youth orchestras are the themes around which the remaining nine projects, deemed eligible for funding by the public call for proposals and the allocation of financial contributions for activities related to the 'Naples City of Music' project, will be developed..
"Mayor Manfredi and the Administration renew their commitment for 2024 to implement a long-lasting and systematic cultural program capable of nourishing the musical soul of the city." says Sergio Locoratolo, coordinator of cultural policies for the Municipality of Naples.
"The events scheduled will allow us not only to promote our rich musical heritage but also to highlight some of the city's venues, such as the Bagnoli Auditorium, which is increasingly establishing itself as a true 'House of Music' and a stage for local and international artistic excellence.".

It will continue with "Napoli Unplugged" by ETS Brodo, a series of four concerts featuring some of the most interesting voices on the Neapolitan music scene (Dadà, Gnut, Francesco Di Bella, Francesco Forni, and Ilaria Graziano).
The Nuovi Territori Music Festival, organized by the Nuovi Territori Sonori association, will promote musical culture in all its forms, focusing on digital technologies. Meanwhile, the "Terra Folk" festival in Bagnoli, organized by the "Artsmusicandcraf" association, will be a true musical journey through unpublished and popular songs from Southern Italy. Italian Opera Meets Jazz, organized by the Orchestra Filarmonica Campana, will conclude the musical journey in Bagnoli with a project combining multiple musical genres: opera, classical music, jazz, and blues.
Four projects have been funded for 2024 in the Youth Orchestras section, designed to give space to young talents and to music as a source of social aggregation: Musica liberi tutti by the Animazione Quartiere Scampia association, I giovani e l'orchestra by the Napolinova association, IncludArt by IAAMS-Italian Academy for Arts, Music and Science, LaMusorchestra by the Lemuseper-l'oro association.
