The Carabinieri of the company Napoli Stella searched the areas a few steps from Piazza Garibaldi and the San Carlo Arena district.
Octavian Stefan Hasan, a 23-year-old already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs. The Carabinieri of the Borgoloreto station – alerted by 112 – intervened together with private security in the internal rooms of the ANM depot on Corso Arnaldo Lucci near Via Vespucci.
The 23-year-old was stopped while stealing 5-meter-long copper cables from the electrical system powering ANM public transport. Searched, he was found in possession of burglary tools. The man is awaiting trial and must answer for aggravated theft.
Two minors were also reported, one of them only 13 years old, found in possession of knives
At San Carlo Arena, instead, the Carabinieri of the Naples Stella station reported two minors. The boys are 13 and 17 years old and the soldiers stopped them in Piazza Sant'Eramo Vecchio. Searched, they were found in possession of 2 knives. They were entrusted to their respective parents.
