Asia Naples has launched new initiatives to promote a greener and more environmentally friendly city. First, the new Environmental Inspectors have been introduced, men and women trained by Asia and the Municipality of Naples, who will be officially presented on January 30 in Piazza del Plebiscito. These inspectors will have the task of supervising the correct disposal of waste by citizens, businesses and commercial activities, thus contributing to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of separate waste collection.
At the same time, Asia Napoli has implemented a new fleet of vehicles, characterized by innovative and eco-sustainable technologies. The fleet, on display in Piazza del Plebiscito from 10:00, includes 177 endothermic and electric motor “zero emissions” vehicles. Among these, the new 3,5 ton rammers stand out with advanced features such as 60 kW of power, 12 hours of autonomy and a noise level reduced to 70 db.
The presentation event of the new Environmental Inspectors will be enriched by a gesture of solidarity. At 11:30, in the presence of Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, Asia Napoli will make the symbolic delivery of some blankets to “Ronda del Cuore”, a volunteer association that will distribute them to the homeless. The blankets were obtained through the separate collection of clothing in Naples, carried out on behalf of Asia by the Ambiente Solidale cooperative. Domenico Ruggiero, sole director of Asia Napoli, and Vincenzo Santagada, councilor for Health and Greenery of the Municipality of Naples, will also participate in the event.
