A 20-year-old man, originally from Naples but resident in Pordenone for several years and with a criminal record, was arrested by the Flying Squad for a series of robberies committed between September and October against students at the Borgo Sant'Antonio campus of the Leopardi-Maiorana high school in Pordenone.
According to the investigation, the attacker's approach involved approaching the victims and asking for a few coins to buy a bus ticket. After attracting the victim's attention, the young robber acted violently, stealing the students' wallets and immediately fleeing.
Furthermore, the young man was charged with two robberies with the same modus operandi, always against students, near the bus stop near the train station, and two thefts committed in a supermarket on Corso Garibaldi.
The arrest took place in Napoli Following a precautionary detention order issued by the Pordenone investigating judge, the young man, who had returned to Naples a few days earlier and was staying with his maternal grandparents, was transferred to Poggioreale prison.
