The mayor of Napoli Gaetano Manfredi and Councilor for Education and Families Maura Striano will be speaking at the inauguration of the new Rocco Jemma Nursery, which has moved to the facility on Via Amato da Montecassino, on Tuesday the 9th at 10:XNUMX a.m. "The reopening, eagerly awaited by local families," a statement emphasizes, "was preceded by significant work carried out by the municipal administration in a race against time to allow the nursery to open on schedule."
"€18 was invested in the building's remediation alone," explains Councilor Striano, "while we've allocated a full €600 to major restoration, safety, and renovation work on the structure. We've also cleared out the former caretaker's quarters, located behind the building, restoring the garden, and we'll continue working on it because we intend to restore a space for children and families to the area, reviving the former ECA's purpose."
Our plans include the construction of a children's center, which will include the current nursery, a preschool, and a playroom using the former school building. We are already in contact with several parties interested in restoring the vandalized church located within the facility.
