Late yesterday afternoon, the Falcons of the Flying Squad, during the services arranged for this purpose, while passing through via dei Tribunali, they noticed a person on a scooter who, after exchanging a gesture of understanding with a man who was standing nearby, gave him something in exchange for money.
The officers promptly intervened and stopped both of them, finding that the man had just sold two packages of cocaine weighing approximately 1.20 grams in exchange for 40 euros; the latter was also found in possession of two other packages of the same weight and substance and 515 euros in banknotes of various denominations, clear proceeds of the criminal activity.
The defendant, identified as a 42-year-old Neapolitan, with a specific police record, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances; the buyer, however, was administratively sanctioned for possession of narcotic substances for personal use.
