“THREE MONTHS IN THE BOOKSTORE”: this is the title of the literary review organized by the Neapolitan Libreria SI of Paolo Di Martino in collaboration with Jack Edizioni that will accompany readers from January until spring 2024.

In six meetings held twice a week, eleven authors will meet readers and present their books in the renovated Neapolitan bookstore on via Bernardo Cavallino. From fiction to non-fiction and poetry, each meeting will have its own particular imprint.

Let's start THURSDAY 11 JANUARY 2024 at 18.30 with Michelangelo Iossa: the journalist and writer will present his “Fleming / Luciano. Ian and Lucky in Naples”, the story of the Neapolitan meeting between the English writer and the Italian-American gangster and of the parallel streets that led them to cross paths on the waterfront of the most mysterious city in the Mediterranean. With him, Andrea Raguzzino, president of Cura il mondo ETS, will introduce the review, present Jack Edizioni and talk about the Jack Rubino trilogy, of which he is the author.

Second appointment THURSDAY 25 JANUARY 2024 at 18.30 with the works of a Roman author. Daniela Iannone will present “Luna a metà”, a very successful family and coming-of-age novel, while Valerio Mattei will talk about his essay “Beatle-magìa. Messianicità recondita tra musica e parole della band più popolare di sempre” and will perform in a mini-acoustic concert.

THURSDAY 29 FEBRUARY 2024 at 18.30, taking advantage of the leap year, it will be the turn of Luca Maurelli, a journalist and writer from Naples, and Gianmarco Tomaselli, an author from Catania. Maurelli will present “Ti serve uno bravo. Manuale d'amore per utenti di psicologi, analisi e strizzacervelli”, his experiment in semi-autobiographical nonfiction-narrative dedicated to the study of mental professionals and their patients. Tomaselli will talk about “Non aver paura del buio”, his collection of short stories dedicated to haunted places, both physical places and places of the mind. A literary meeting that promises to resemble a collective self-consciousness session!

THURSDAY 14 MARCH 2024 at 18.30, Stefania Guarracino will present “Le Storielle”, the first volume published by Jack Edizioni specifically intended for children and schools. A collection of stories, poems, games, and plays born from more than twenty years of laboratory activity held by the author in schools of all levels, which will allow us to talk in the round about teaching in the 20s of the 21st century.

The grand finale of the review is entrusted to the poetry reading on THURSDAY 28 MARCH 2024 at 18.30:XNUMX pm: Carla Buccino (“La danza del confine”), NIMz (“In mezzo al ford”) and Valeria Zoppo (“Memorabilia”) will present their poetic anthologies, different in style, themes and approach.
