In recent days, there has been an attempted scam through social media, in particular through a fake Facebook page with the name "Naples Metro".
This page advertises the sale for only 2 € of a card that would guarantee an annual pass for subway travel. The report was made public by the Municipality of Naples.
The note from the Municipality highlights that a similar attempted scam, using similar methods, has already been perpetrated in Milan and Rome. Campania Single Consortium has clarified through its official website that this initiative is false.
It therefore invites public transport users to be wary of offers conveyed on social media and to always consult official sources, such as the website www.unicocampania.it and the Facebook page UCampania, to verify the veracity of the information obtained from other sources.
