The Carabinieri of the Nola company's mobile radio section reported three people for the unjustified possession of altered keys and attempted theft.
The intervention of the military was prompted by a report from the security forces regarding three suspicious individuals, two men and a woman, who were moving among the cars parked in the Vulcano Buono shopping centre in Nola.
The Carabinieri responded quickly and arrested the three individuals within minutes of the report. During the search, they discovered that they were in possession of burglary tools. Inside the parking lot, officers found that a car window had been shattered.
They are all from San Gennaro Vesuviano
The three people involved, a 33-year-old and a 26-year-old already known to the police, together with a 37-year-old with no criminal record, come from San Gennaro Vesuvius.
The 33-year-old, in particular, will also have to answer for the crime of escape, since he was under house arrest with a permit to leave to visit his minor son, who, at the time of his arrest, was not in the designated place.
