'Don't Forget', the new single by AKA 7EVEN

Produced by Junior K and Jeremy Buxton, 'Don't Forget' is the new single from Aka 7even, out on January 12th and from today in pre-save and pre-add at the link https://forms.sonymusicfans.com/campaign/cxeh43cmx3/, which tells of those very moments and the desire to stop time to be able to relive them.

"The song - says Aka 7even - it is a celebration of the value of things and people, an invitation to not give weight only to defeats and negative things, but to learn to take the good things in life and hold them close to us. 'Don't forget' represents all those relationships concluded and not, that have marked unforgettable moments, like that piece that comes on the radio and reminds you of childhood. Even if some relationships end and new ones are built, not forgetting them is the key that helps us keep the fire burning.”

In recent weeks, the artist has released a spoiler of the new song on social media, accompanied by a long letter to fans and an invitation to upload their most beautiful videos of 2023 to a landing page (link), of present and past loves, of everything they don't want to forget. Among all the clips, Aka 7even will then choose the most emotional ones that will be included in the video clip of the single.

“Non dimenticare” wants to be a safe place to enclose what for Aka has been a year of transition, a song from which to start again to create a new project starting from simplicity, from oneself and from the voice, after healing the wounds of the past that have been overcome and put into music.

“Non dimenticare” comes after the summer single “Rock 'n' Roll” (https://Columbia.lnk.to/rocknroll; Columbia Records/Sony Music Italy), produced by Max Kle1nz (Cosmophonix) and CanovA, a soundtrack of two lives that cross paths, coincidence or destiny does not matter, what we know is that the moment to live is here and now.

Stage name of Luke Marzano, AKA 7EVEN was born in Vico Equense (NA) on October 23, 2000. He became passionate about music at a very young age, a passion that became a refuge and shield for every moment of his life. Having joined the roster of Cosmophonix Production, in 2018 he participated in the eleventh edition of X Factor Italia, conquering audiences and critics thanks to a unique voice and an incredible ability to perfectly blend pop and songwriting. In the team of Anna Pettinelli and Veronica Peparini, Aka 7even stood out in the twentieth edition of Amici for his songwriting and multi-instrumentalist skills. Inside the school he wrote “Mi Manchi”, certified double platinum (data released by FIMI/GfK Italia). Also during the program, the artist launched three other songs, “Yellow”, “Mille parole” and “Loca”. His debut album “AKA 7EVEN” (Columbia Records Italy/Sony Music Italy) was certified platinum, together with the single “Loca”, which instead achieved triple platinum (data released by Fimi/GFK Italia).

During the summer of the same year, “AKA 7EVEN SUMMER EDITION” was released (Columbia Records Italy/Sony Music Italy), enriched by the remixes of “Black”, “Blue” and “Luna”. The single “Loca” was also released in a new Spanish version in collaboration with the artist Robledo. In September 2021, he was at the Venice Film Festival for the soundtrack of La Regina di Cuori, the transmedia project by Thomas Turolo with Beatrice Vendramin, Mariasole Pollio, Cristiano Caccamo and Giuseppe Battiston.

The end of 2021 for Aka 7even is crowned by other very important milestones: his first book “7 vite”, published by Mondadori, comes out in November, preceded by the single “6PM”, the victory as BEST ITALIAN ACT at the MTV EMAs and the announcement of his participation among the Big of the 72nd edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song “Perfetta così”, certified platinum (data released by FIMI/GfK Italia). In April 2022 he won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award as best Italian artist, in May he returns with the new single “Come la prima volta”, in July with “TOCA” feat. Guè, certified gold record, and in November with the ballad “Non piove più”. In the summer of 2023 he released the single “Rock'n'roll”. Aka 7even strikes for his eclecticism and personality and is considered one of the most promising talents of the new Italian urban-pop singer-songwriter, collecting to date a total of 280 million audio and video streams.
