'Lame e Collane' is the new single by Tripolare: out Friday 19th January

“Lame e Collane” is Tripolare’s latest bold and unfiltered look at contemporary reality. It’s the most punk challenge there can be: to stay true to yourself in a violent world that too often tests your authenticity.

“Lame e collane” (Sugar) is the title of the new single by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter and producer, out Friday 19 January on all platforms.

The fast pace and obsessive repetition of the title in the text are nothing more than the continuous and painful attempt to trigger a communication, to sediment a language while maintaining the cryptic character.

“I've always focused a lot on positive emotions, sometimes staying a bit inside my creative bubble. This song, however - comments the artist - It talks about a reality that, no matter how much a person decides to stay in their own bubble, belongs to the contemporary world. It tells of a mugging and of the encounters that I have found myself having many times in life: from people who wanted to commit a robbery to those who often found answers in violence”.

Born in 2002 in Naples, Gabriele Centurione, aka Tripolare, is a young singer-songwriter, musician and producer crossed by music, which he manages to make fluid and without any kind of barrier. Immersed in art since he was a child, he discovered the world of classical music at just 4 years old, when he began playing the cello. His primary language is notes. Classical studies over time are combined with instinct. Tripolare searches for his sound and finds the key: versatility. An attitude that he absorbs innately from his Naples: multicultural, chaotic, melancholic, full of different and harmoniously intertwined stimuli. After the first singles including "Lungs" and "Melone", included in his first EP "Acne", he enters the roster of Sugar and publishes the second EP, "Panorama20". At the end of 2023, with the single “Uragani”, Tripolare embarks on a precise artistic path characterized by awareness and a melting pot of indie, rap, rock and punk, which blends together with coherence and attitude.
