On Saturday 26 January, the show “Per amore”, dedicated to Roberto Vecchioni, debuted in Portici as part of the prestigious Teatro Cerca Casa festival.
The first scheduled date received approval and enthusiasm from the public, especially for the authenticity of the tribute paid to the great singer-songwriter, whose songbook is full of different but important songs.
Alberico Lombardi, the protagonist of this tribute, has created a show in which he highlights his talent as a complete artist, juggling with great ease between important songs, monologues and poems by the Milanese singer-songwriter. He succeeds in remaining himself, while perfectly fitting into Vecchioni's singing and intellectual world, giving the warm audience a notable interpretative and emotional charge. Excellent performance by the musicians on stage, the multi-instrumentalist Sergio Mautone, and the violinist Giorgio Scognamiglio, as well as the choice of arrangements, which while remaining faithful to the original versions, shine with their own light.
Particularly moving are the performances of pieces such as Il cielo capovolto, Le rose blu, Luci a San Siro and Chiamami ancora amore. Once again, the Teatro Cerca Casa by Manlio Santanelli demonstrates its intellectual vivacity, giving us quality shows that are always different, without ever basking in the already seen and heard.
Next date on February 12th in Naples, Santanelli lounge.
