“Quando Sei Ragazzo” is the cover of the famous song by Simone Tomassini released in 2004.
A tribute that Ponch wanted to pay not only to the artist, who was able to create an Italian rock song with a latent punk aftertaste, but also to himself as a teenager, who was taking his first steps with music and experimenting with “makeshift” instruments.
Thanks to this push, Ponch has thus brought out his character from this track, making it his own, also thanks to the active participation of his band that, with the right arrangement, completed the production work.
The choice of this song, however, was not thought out, but almost casual: a song played on the radio and sung at the top of one's lungs which, thanks to a series of events, becomes a single shared with the author of the song itself.
To strengthen its meaning, “Quando Sei Ragazzo” is accompanied by a video clip shot live, which brings out all the primordial essence of its melody.
punch, pseudonym of Cristian Poerio, is a singer-songwriter from the province of Parma.
After a long apprenticeship between studios and independent bands, in 2011 he recorded his first self-produced EP consisting of 7 unreleased songs.
This is followed by solo evenings in which he alternates acoustically his own pieces with covers of bands like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and many others.
At the same time he formed a band with which he brought the same songs to an electric level.
In 2021, after a period of pause, he returned to the studio and recorded two songs, “Lascivo” and “Iride”, pieces written in a moment of profound difficulty.
In 2022 he signed a contract with DF Music, a publisher from Rimini for the support and dissemination of the songs on all digital stores, deciding to participate again in the Tour Music Fest and Sanremo Rock.
In December 2022 he signed with the management Sorry Mom! with which the singles “Fenice”, “Tra le mie braccia” “Andromeda” and the very latest “Quando sei Ragazzo” were released.
