They told the police that they were in the parking lot of the Santa Scolastica hospital in Cassino to give alms, offering sacred images in exchange.
However, the Cassino Company's operations room received several reports from motorists, who complained about the presence of two annoying parking attendants in the large hospital forecourt, where parking is actually free.
A patrol from the Radiomobile Section intervened promptly, identifying two individuals originally from the Naples area: a 44 year old man from Napoli - Scampia and another 35-year-old from Caivano.
The terminals revealed that both had extensive criminal records related to property crimes. The Carabinieri removed the two individuals from Cassino, initiating the process of applying a mandatory expulsion order, which prevents their return for the next few years.
