IThe young disabled Alessandro, thanks to a hydraulic platform, was able to reach the car without the help of his elderly parents, thus allowing him to go more easily to the doctor and his grandmother.
However, two nights ago, at Pianura, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Naples, someone stole the van with a hydraulic platform. This theft made the life of Alessandro and his parents much more complicated. The story was told by the deputy of the Green Left Alliance, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, after the mother of Alessandro she reached out to him and the boy's sister shared the story on social media.
“Someone had the good idea to steal this car two nights ago, leaving my father and mother in big trouble, since it is absolutely necessary for them to have a car always available due to the health condition of my brother, who unfortunately suffers from epileptic seizures and it may be necessary to rush him to the hospital,” wrote Alessandro’s sister.
At the moment, my parents can't afford to buy another car like the previous one (a Fiat Doblò), that's why I'm here: I'm asking you for help, even if it's a small one but it can be precious to give Alessandro his car and his smile back". A story, that of the theft, which Borrelli defines “ignoble act” and assures: “If the vehicle is not found, we will start a fundraiser to help Alessandro and his family buy a new van with a platform.”
