She had been summoned to the barracks to be questioned regarding a criminal proceeding in which she is the injured party for the violence suffered by her 46 year old partner but during the questioning, overcome by desperation, she told the Carabinieri of the Station that Santa Maria Capua Vetere to continue to be threatened and mistreated.
The girl, a 20-year-old, who initially seemed reticent also due to the fear of suffering retaliation from the man who had even accompanied her to the barracks and remained waiting for her outside, then found the courage to tell the soldiers of the Army the pains of hell that he had been suffering for about a year.
The young victim reported to the police that she had met the man at the beginning of 2023 and that she had been violently beaten several times and segregated in the house for several days. She who on one occasion, due to the unprecedented violence she suffered, had been hospitalized for a week in hospital.
Deprived of her phone, she could only receive calls from her mother on her partner's cell phone, and in his presence, without making her understand the discomfort she was experiencing. Due to jealousy, the man, accustomed to alcohol fumes, had repeatedly accused her of having relationships with other men. On one occasion, he had tried to force her to prostitute herself, but without success. The man, tracked down by the Carabinieri not far from the barracks, was arrested and taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
